IT/OT Collaboration

Instances of IT/OT convergence are rising. However, significant structural and cultural obstacles still exist as these technologies were built to cater to different problems and have evolved into significantly different architectures and protocols. Therefore, organizations need to transform their IT/OT operating model before moving into technical and architectural transformations to tackle convergence challenges.

Enterprises need to bring about IT/OT collaboration. A digital center of excellence (CoE) can design, implement, and deploy appropriate use cases from the OT and IT organizations. It can help to integrate digital use case delivery with business initiatives that have clearly defined benefits for the enterprise and operational verticals. Organizations can also introduce an agile operating model to rope in the challenges of the IT and OT verticals.
