The Skills Gap – Training & Development

The industrial sector continues to face a cybersecurity personnel shortage and skills gap, forcing organizations to work towards increasing user awareness. Appropriate cybersecurity training will help the sector develop critical judgment and competencies when facing possible security issues, improving employees’ ability to recognize and respond to potential cyber threats.

Organizations can increase the knowledge of their industrial cybersecurity workforce by attending ICS cybersecurity training courses and programs, which are offered by a host of agencies, including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), SANS Institute, SCADAhacker[dot]com, ICS Cyber Security institute, and the ISA (International Society of Automation).
