Industrial IoT

One of the most challenging tasks faced by the industrial sector is protecting the myriad of industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices deployed across the enterprise network. While these endpoints bring benefits of better connectivity and faster efficiency to machinery and vehicles across the energy, transportation, and other critical infrastructure sectors, they also bring risks that are associated with higher and broader levels of connectivity.

Critical infrastructure sectors must develop a risk-based approach for connecting and managing such devices by monitoring and protecting IIoT digital communications. Operators must also look to enhance the reliability and stability of the organizational environment from cyberattacks while adopting proactive cybersecurity defense mechanisms that organizations can use to assure that information exchanges can be monitored, secured, and trusted.
