Irdeto Opens New Connected Transport Office in Detroit

Irdeto has opened a new office in Pontiac, Michigan dedicated to its Connected Transport business.

The new office with further investment in people, innovation and partnerships fosters continued collaboration with OEMs, automotive suppliers and fleet operators to address a multitude of security challenges in connected and autonomous vehicles. As the Connected Transport space evolves, Irdeto and its growing team of automotive security specialists will now be co-located with some of the automotive industry’s most innovative companies.

According to IHS Markit, worldwide sales of connected cars will reach 72.5 million units by 2023. Detroit is an epicenter of this growth, establishing the future of the connected transport industry where vehicles will be defined by their connectivity and eye-catching innovations.
