aDolus, DriveLock, TXOne, Armis among winners of Global InfoSec award at RSA Conference 2022

Endpoint security company DriveLock won on Tuesday the ‘Cutting Edge in Endpoint Security’ award in the Global InfoSec Award for 2022, at the ongoing RSA Conference 2022.

The Munich, Germany founded company works towards protecting sensitive organizational data, devices, applications, and mission-critical systems from attack by malicious actors, insider threats, and most commonly human error. DriveLock utilizes the latest technologies, encryption, whitelisting, vulnerability scanning, and behavioral analytics blended with advanced real-time monitoring and control solutions based on the zero trust model.

“We knew the competition would be tough and with top judges who are leading infosec experts from around the globe, we couldn’t be more pleased,” Anton Kreuzer, CEO of DriveLock SE, said in a media statement.

aDolus Technology also won a Global InfoSec award under the category ‘Most Innovative Software Supply Chain Security.’

“It is so encouraging to see the protection of our software supply chain get the attention it so urgently needs,” Eric Byres, founder and CTO of aDolus, said in a media statement. “You would not have even seen this category two years ago, but following high-profile supply chain attacks like SolarWinds and Kaseya, the industry is recognizing this rapidly escalating threat. With help from the DHS, our team started tackling this problem back in 2017 and our solution now provides a huge head start to businesses needing a secure software supply chain,” he added.

“Software supply chain visibility is the new business imperative,” Rod Campbell, CEO of aDolus, said. “After incidents like the ransomware attack on Colonial Pipeline, critical infrastructure cybersecurity has been thrust into the spotlight. Having immediate executive level visibility into supply chains will be a minimum requirement for management to confidently and quickly respond to the next security crisis.”

“Whether you are facing regulatory headwinds or you need better insight to understand your 3rd-party risk exposure from 3rd-party suppliers, aDolus offers a rapid and cost-effective solution,” Byres noted.

OT zero trust cybersecurity company TXOne Networks also won Global InfoSec awards across three categories, including ‘Most Innovative Critical Infrastructure Protection,’ ‘Hot Company ICS/SCADA Security,’ and ‘Best Product Industrial Cybersecurity.’

“We are happy to see that our solutions including the Stellar series, the Edge series, Trend Micro Portable Security 3, and the OT Defense Console are not only well received by our customers and partners, but that they have been recognized by the awards jury,” Dr. Terence Liu, CEO of TXOne Networks, said in a media statement.

Unified asset intelligence platform company Armis is also proud to have won Global InfoSec awards across three categories, including ‘Hot Company Healthcare IoT Security,’ ‘Cutting Edge ICS/SCADA Security,’ and ‘Most Comprehensive Internet of Things (IoT) Security.’

OT cybersecurity vendor Radiflow was also awarded two Global InfoSec awards. Reflecting their specialized OT-focused cybersecurity capabilities, the first award is the ‘Editor’s Choice Breach & Attack Simulation,’ while the second being ‘Editor’s Choice ICS/SCADA Security awards.’

Radiflow has worked closely with OT facility managers, supply chain managers, and critical infrastructure sites to protect their assets as they are brought online. As technologies advanced, they were faced with increased complexity due to a patchwork of both legacy and state-of-the-art machinery needing to be secured on the same network within a fully operational facility.

Operating obsolete technology that no longer receives critical bug patches or cybersecurity updates demanded that Ilan Barda, CEO of Radiflow, and his team develop IT-proven techniques, such as the ability for CISOs and cybersecurity teams to conduct virtual breach attack simulations to be ready for potential attacks without impeding facility operations.

Beyond the new technologies that are being implemented by Radiflow, their approach to drilling down into the potential financial impact of an attack is empowering CISOs to work ever-closer with the executive board. “We have seen firsthand that CISOs need more tools to protect their facilities as new attacks seem to bombard them and their industry daily,” Barda said.
