Radiflow helps customers achieve NIS2 compliance, spurring growth in Europe

OT cybersecurity platform vendor Radiflow announced that it has brought on regional engineers and partnered with local suppliers throughout Europe and Latin America to meet the rise in demand in response to new regulations and increased cybersecurity threats. The move will allow manufacturers and infrastructure operators to protect their networks without disrupting operations or requiring network downtime.

The new NIS2 directive, put in place by the EU, is focused on securing critical infrastructure, but it also has implications for periphery sectors, such as pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical manufacturing, and others that serve defense operations.

To bring companies in line with the new requirements in addition to their existing regulations, Radiflow has developed a three-pillar approach consisting of OT network illumination, prioritizing security for business-critical assets, and a clear onboarding process. In addition, they help ease the transition to new regulations by offering risk assessment and compliance services for companies going through the NIS2 journey.

Beyond securing facilities, CISOs of publicly traded companies throughout Europe are now required to run recurring vulnerability scans, report on cybersecurity breaches within a reasonable timeframe, and must report their risk exposure.

We’ve found that a customer-first approach to onboarding is allowing for faster time to be cyber-secure while demanding fewer resources.”

Many companies utilize older cybersecurity practices, outdated tools, or have no OT cybersecurity program at all. This presents a large skill gap between OT cybersecurity professionals today and the capabilities of a modern platform.

To support their customers, Radiflow has opened an office in the Netherlands while securing new partnerships with companies in Italy, Spain, Brazil, and many other countries.

Last month, Radiflow partnered with Taiwanese vendor CyCraft, a company focused on generative AI detection, investigation, and response to nation-state-sponsored APTs (advanced persistent threats). The partnership leverages over 20 years of real-world threat intelligence from both East and West.
