Risk Mitigation Consulting acquires Securicon, boosting cybersecurity and mission assurance offerings

Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC), a provider of risk management and industrial cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure and critical missions, announced on Monday its acquisition of Securicon, a cybersecurity services provider based in Alexandria, Virginia.

Specializing in both IT and OT cybersecurity services, Securicon offers technical consulting services; governance, risk, and compliance; and federal security services for both commercial and government clients. With its roots in the U.S. federal government, commercial energy and other utility sectors, Securicon offers improved expertise in information cybersecurity solutions.

“This acquisition marks a significant milestone for RMC, enhancing our substantial expertise in critical infrastructure protection and industrial cybersecurity,” said Vince Kuchar, CEO of RMC. “Securicon brings RMC new capabilities and domain knowledge, including device penetration testing, deeper experience in the energy sector, full spectrum coverage of Information Technology and operational technology cybersecurity services, and a broader government portfolio.”
