Dragos Europe Forum hosts industrial asset owners and operators from 16 countries

Industrial cybersecurity company Dragos held their inaugural Dragos Europe Forum at the Battersea Power Station from June 26-28. The forum hosted members of the operational technology (OT) community from 16 countries to discuss and learn from experts, exchange ideas, and network with the industry’s cyber security professionals. The forum brought together a growing community of practitioners focused on OT cybersecurity in Europe.

The Dragos Europe Forum served as a platform for discussions on crucial global OT topics. These discussions encompassed various areas, such as the threats present in the industrial landscape, the analysis of OT incident responses, and the adoption of security practices to tackle upcoming challenges.

Speaking at the keynote address at the Dragos Europe Forum, Robert M. Lee, the CEO and co-founder of Dragos, introduced the forum’s prevailing theme of the need to take immediate action to improve ICS/OT cybersecurity and the critical role cybersecurity plays in operational resilience. Experts at the forum emphasized the pivotal role of cybersecurity professionals in establishing an OT Security Operations Center (SOC) to stay abreast of the latest threats and their solutions.

150 OT asset owners and operators from 16 countries attended the three-day event, which also included training and workshops for attendees. The venue was a nod to the energy industry’s early adoption of cybersecurity protection.

The forum presented a great opportunity for attendees to participate as a community and share lessons and best practices, focusing on pragmatic, consequence-driven approaches.
