SecurityGate, Atlassian Cloud deliver custom automatic bidirectional synchronization

SaaS platform provider for OT and ICS cyber improvement SecurityGate announced its integration with Atlassian Cloud to provide clients with custom automatic bidirectional synchronization. The Atlassian platform offers several cloud products for teams to increase productivity and scale their organization. Through Atlassian’s REST API, the SecurityGate Platform can display information, react to events, and modify information in Atlassian Cloud. 

The integration provides several key benefits within the SecurityGate Platform including the ability to create Jira tickets when remediations are necessary, showing Jira status related to Assessment questions, and visualizing issue attachments in the platform. For example, Platform users can create and update assessment responses, including attached documents, increasing their workflow and user productivity.  

The SecurityGate platform can be used to perform assessments internally and externally, and offers two-factor authentication via Google Authenticator, LastPass, and Microsoft Authenticator. Users also have the option to use BYOK inside their Amazon Web Service (AWS) environment. It also provides several native integrations with asset inventory tools and ticketing solutions.

“This integration will allow our clients to fully leverage the SecurityGate integration manager to seamlessly display relevant information from their organization’s Atlassian environment into the SecurityGate Platform, according to Ashley Garcia, manager of customer experience at SecurityGate. “One of my personal favorites is the ability to automatically create Jira tickets for identified remediations post assessment.” 

Last month, SecurityGate was selected to partner with SynerLeap, ABB’s innovation and growth hub. The move stems from the growing alignment between SecurityGate and ABB’s Electrification Business, collaborating since the first quarter of this year. The deal works towards enhancing and scaling cybersecurity capabilities across ABB’s customer base globally.
